Summary: I recently stayed at Treasury on Collins in Melbourne, and it absolutely lives up to its reputation as one of the city’s best hotels—if not the best. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. The room was huge, far more spacious than expected, and came fully equipped with thoughtful features like a kitchenette and even a washer—a rare and incredibly convenient touch, especially for longer stays. Everything in the room and throughout the hotel was spotlessly clean, which made the stay all the more comfortable. The amenities were outstanding. The food offerings, snack bar, and high-quality toiletries went well above typical hotel standards. The included breakfast was another highlight, offering a great variety and top-notch quality each morning—definitely not your average buffet. The staff were fantastic, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. They were warm, professional, and incredibly polite—genuine hospitality that really stood out. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. The hotel is within walking distance to everything—restaurants, amazing coffee spots, shopping, and key attractions are all just minutes away. It made exploring Melbourne incredibly easy and enjoyable. All in all, Treasury on Collins absolutely deserves its recent award as the best hotel in Melbourne. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
