Welcome to Glenford Farmhouse, this property featuring lush green lawns and a farm style atmosphere creates the perfect getaway. The farm house is situated on a huge 50 acre spread which is well hidden from the usual holiday hustle and bustle, but only a short five minute drive to Middleton Beach and Port Elliot's stunning Horseshoe Bay.

The Space:
With four bedrooms, large living room, updated kitchen and outdoor entertaining, Glenford Farmhouse has everything you need for a comfortable and cosy escape. The large living & dining room boasts a wood fire, bar, reverse cycle air-con and a twelve seater dining table. Outdoors the bbq and entertaining area also has another large dining table and extensive undercover patio looking out over expansive gardens and rural views.

Glenford Farm has acres to explore. Collect the eggs from the chook yard don't forget to reward the chickens with some of your food scraps. Go for a walk around the paddocks. Head into the wooded areas where local wildlife resides, kangaroos and kookaburras are frequently nearby and if you're lucky you might see an elusive echidna or goanna. If that sounds too energetic take a drink out under the patio and let the wild life come to you - dozens of different bird species can be spotted from one of the comfy chairs. Sit back, relax, watch the kids play and take it all in.

Oh, and don't forget about the rest of the Fleurieu just minutes away. Dine out and do a spot of shopping in Victor Harbor or Goolwa; go whale watching (generally May - September) or beachcombing at Middleton; grab some bakery delights and a cappuccino in lovely Port Elliot; or head for any one of the South Coast's stunning beaches. Summary: Glenford Farm exceeded our expectations - the multiple living areas, amazing views, privacy and welcoming vibe of the place absolutely made our weekend. It has a true farm feel to it, both adults and children alike had a sensational time. Will definitely stay again.
