This home was established for a large family, so living areas are large to ensure one doesn't feel cramped. There is a separate area for kids to watch tv and play, giving parents a relief and adults who wish some privacy.
Blackwood kitchen with double electric wall oven and electric hotplates and a 2.4 x 1.2m dining table with 12 chairs so meals together have never been more enjoyable. Designed to meet the need of cooking for a tribe.Great bench space always a necessity never enough I tried.This is a home kitchen everything you would like to take away yet can not fit into the car.Abundant plates ,cups glasses,cutlery.Frypans,rice cooker,electric hand cake tins and recipes. Milkshake maker,juicer and the rest is worth exploring yourself. Reverse cycle split system and 50inch TV.
There are 4 bedrooms in the original part of the house. All of these bedrooms include a queen bed and a single bed if a child needs to be close to Mum and Dad or adults happy to share a room.The rumpus room also a 5th bedroom has a sofa folds out to a double bed, 2 single beds and a wooden double bed bunk with single bed top..A 40'TV and DVD is here for anyone who can not get a say on what to watch on the other TV.Close to this room is the another toilet so no one is skipping around holding on while the other 2 bathrooms are being hogged by the my hair is not quite right people.
A porta cot is supplied, you will need to bring your own mattress. There is an adjustable highchair also provided.
Bedrooms are large with outside access to decked verandah, and have built in robes,
Lounge is 10m x 7m .Large wood fire for cosy winters and a reverse cycle split system for cool summer escape. There is a bar, bar fridge, dining table and two lounge suites. equipped with surround sound entertainment unit,65 inch TV , DVD. and large pool table. Sliding glass doors provide access to 2 decked areas great for outdoor entertaining with stunning views of Mt Buffalo or simply enjoy the garden.
Parents retreat is for large groups those needing more room, it is apart of the main house and can be separated by a lockable door. Small groups can also access this area at an additional cost. This offers a 6th and 7th bedroom with Queen size bed ,en suite ,, lounge which includes a double bed,a day bed and trundle, a split system and 40" LCD TV. Not to mention glass sliding doors providing direct access to the pool for quiet dip when everyone else is asleep.
Outside decked area has large table with 10 chairs and large gas BBQ great for socializing close to kitchen where many a missed plate has been passed out the kitchen window.
The home is not seen until you enter the drive as I have planned the garden so you can amble around and have some peace and quiet. I lost count on how many Camilla,rhodoes and Azelia are here not to mention variety of trees ,roses and perennials you can be assured there is colour through every season and Mt Buffalo as the backdrop.
Not forgetting seasonal fruit and nut trees, from which you may pick your own. Ample parking for cars with circular driveway and single undercover carport.
The home is in heritage listed area 10min drive to Buckland cemetery ,area of goldfield riots experience panning for gold in the Buckland river .Explore Alpine national park with native wildlife and bushland with many cleared areas for picnics and Barbie.
The large pool is the hub of the outdoor entertainment area in Summer with solar heating for those that need the chill taken off . Adjacent to this is the kids play area with climbing fort ,swings and slide .
This area is great for cyclists - awesome training area for road and off road training. Recovery never felt so good when returning to soak in a 10 m solar heated pool. Of course you need to experience a late night swim in summer lie back and check out the stars there are no words ..
Wineries abundant, good excuse to cycle and wine. Try Gapstead Winery only 80km return or shorter 20k return Boyntons or Ringer Reef.
Snow enthusiasts - close to all resorts such as Buffalo, Hotham and Falls.
10 minute drive to Bright. Four season tourist destination.
6 minute drive to local 18 hole country golf course.
3 minute drive to popular local swimming hole .
