Positive: The location was great - just inside Wollongong, near the beach and close to the town. Our room was an Ocean Front Suite so was very spacious with a spectacular view. The breakfast had a great selection - ans the pancake machine was very popular. It was good to have a pool as an alternative for the beach for small children.

Negative: We were travelling with my elderly mother, who needed an accessible room - but her room was on a different floor. That was OK but it was also a very long walk from the lift, which didn’t make any sense. Ideally the accessible rooms should be closer to the lift. The beach near the hotel was covered in big clumps of seaweed and had a lot of small stones - reef shoes recommended to help with this or choose a different beach. The pool is nice but quite small so be prepared to share it with others. Our room balcony (Ocean Front Suite) was great but with a very low barrier to the room next door. This meant they we felt we were being watched the whole time - no privacy. Also we were right next to the road, which was noisy at night with locals who felt the urge to drive past with no mufflers and making screechy sounds with their tyres.

Summary: A convenient and well appoi1nted hotel, right near the beech and city.
