Positive: Extremely well located in the high street, stands out with a sense of elegant heritage. An example of the sophistication and charm of an age. An important part of local but more importantly Australian history. Main dining room is splendidly Victorian age. A beautiful and stately ballroom. One can almost hear Auld Lang syne playing softly from New Year’s celebrations long gone. A hotel we must maintain and ensure continues its story.

Negative: Nothing specific.

Summary: All of the above but especially the history and charm. An exemplar of its age.
