Relax with the family in our brand new beautiful, sustainability award winning 3 (or 4) bedroom home surrounded by nature. We put our hearts and souls into building this oasis in the gorgeous Adelaide Hills. A perfect home to sit back, relax and enjoy time with loved ones.
Note this is a 'traditional' Airbnb, as it is our family home, with many of our personal items present. Parties/events are not allowed.
A light-filled beautiful, peaceful home surrounded by nature. Drink your coffee or sip your wine on the front deck under the trees, listen to the creek that runs through the small conservation area across the road or just enjoy a long soak in the outdoor bath off the master bedroom ensuite. There is a trampoline and ninja course equipment in the back yard for the kids, or get out the badminton net for a family game. Boxes of toys and games available too. You might spot a koala, and definitely a good spot for bird watching, especially from the hammock. Triple glazed windows makes the house super quiet. Aircon and electric heating and fireplace as needed, although the house does a good job all on it's own. Comfy good quality beds.
Walking distance across the creek to the Bridgewater Inn for fine dining, or the Bridgewater pub for a family meal. Playground and coffee shop there too. Shopping center in the same vicinity. Just a short drive to Stirling with its selection of cafes and restaurants, and of course all those Adelaide Hills wineries on your doorstep. For the more active, the Heysen Trail literally goes past the house, and Bridgewater offers a number of other nature trails nearby.
We have two fluffy chickens named Red and Specks who are sort of our family pets in an enclosure at the back of the property. All they need from you is to give them your food scraps every few days and in exchange they will give you a fresh egg or two every day.
The whole house is available to guests, including front garden and back garden
Other things to note
As this is our family home it will have some of our personal items around (photos, toys, wardrobe items). Help yourself to bits and pieces from the pantry, and there will be all the condiments in the fridge for your use. Cupboards will contain our things but we provide separate clothes horse-style hanging and wardrobe space for each room.
