The Lookout at Cuttlefish Bay is Kangaroo Island’s Secret Garden.
This self-contained garden apartment is located a 10 minutes drive from Penneshaw on a pristine garden property, which overlooks the beautiful view across the Backstairs Passage to the mainland.

Our self contained garden apartment has two large bedrooms, a spacious bathroom with laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen. Each room looks out onto the beautiful gardens or scenic ocean views.

You can spend a whole day wandering around the property, through the different garden sections. There are flowers, tropical landscapes, succulents, ponds, flowing streams and abundant birdlife. Sit and have a pot of tea in one of the shady reading nooks. Throw a blanket out on the soft green grassy yard and have a nap. Sit on the porch and watch the wedge tailed eagles fly across the seaview. It really is a secret garden experience.
