Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Short walk to small shopping centre and pub. Bed was okay but too much bedding as it was very hot weather. Thank goodness for the ceiling fan, and the air con was efficient.

Negative: This was advertised as Tea Tree Gully, but is part of a residential home in Windsor Downs. Also said off street parking, but then told to park on the footpath. Luckily it's very wide, but wondered if that's legal. Plenty of room in the front yard if they organised their cars better. The room was very small, little room for luggage, plugging in mobiles, bedsides were minute. The bathroom was a terrible DIY job. Grouting was terrible, and looked like mould in the shower. Water pooled on floor outside shower. Personal toiletries, toothpaste etc in there, body wash was empty, no place for our toiletries, threadbare towels. Our fridge was in their kitchen/dining, through a connecting door, and we had to use their kettle, sink etc., We could sit at the dining table, but chairs were upside down on the table the other end. No air-conditioning or fan in there, so too hot to sit anyway. No access to outdoor space, which was not welcoming anyway. All in all, a very weird set up, and not what I would recommend as a BnB. The street was a main thoroughfare so very noisy until late, then again early morning.
