The Greenstead is a newly built, light-filled eco-stay in the foothills of Central Gippsland with valley & pond views; close to local wineries, country pubs, walking / riding trails and natural swimming holes.
Comprising two fully self-contained apartments under one roof, ideal for friends or couples travelling together.
The property is generally adults-only (21+ years) due to the natural setting and unfenced dam, however families welcome to contact us prior to booking to discuss suitability.
The space:
Set across nine regenerating acres, the Greenstead sits within an evolving landscape of emerging food forests, bush-tucker plantings, and a young nursery taking shape, with hundreds of fruit trees establishing roots across the land. The property is also home to Banjos Cabin Eco-Stay (approx 100m away), alongside a small animal sanctuary and the beginnings of a future teahouse, all guided by a gentle, regenerative approach that prioritises soil health, biodiversity, and long-term abundance rather than instant perfection.
The Greenstead offers an experience that’s easy to settle into and hard to rush. Days are shaped by choice - head out to explore nearby wineries, country pubs, trails, and swimming spots, or stay close to home and enjoy long meals, quiet views, and time outdoors. The surrounding paddocks are home to miniature sheep and alpacas, adding to the sense of space and calm without demanding attention. Guests have exclusive access to the Greenstead main house as booked, including the immediate outdoor areas around the home. You’re welcome to enjoy the surrounding views and observe the animals within their paddocks (they will often come over to say hi!); however, some areas of the property are working regeneration zones and are not accessible to guests.
