Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The house is on a quiet street in suburbia and a short drive into town. It's definitely a quirky, interesting design. You probably won't stay in another house like it. Ducted air conditioning keeps the house toasty. Fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cater for ourselves. Nice view from the upstairs balcony. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels provided. We didn't run out of hot water (group of 5 women).

Negative: We were advised shortly before checking in that the cleaners were delayed the house wouldn't be available until 3pm. No matter, but there were still cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and we found bits of food on the loungeroom floor. The fireplace was unavailable. The side gate had completely fallen over. Candles were melted pools of wax. There's a weird bath dungeon on the back of the house, inaccessible. The age of the property also made it really noisy. There are no quiet trips to the bathroom at night without waking everyone else. It definitely looks more modern in the photos.
