Positive: I was very impressed by my stay at Sheraton. I'd looked at a few different hotels but I am very glad I decided on the Sheraton in the end. The hotel itself is gorgeous and is very well located. The staff are very professional and welcoming. You were greated on arrival by the doorman. They carried our luggage into to the hotel and offered to have someone take it our room for us. There is a lovely parking bay where you can pull in which means you aren't battling traffic when you are trying to get your bags out of the car. Check in and out was quick easy and hassle free. We booked a king room with a city view. It was very good value considering how central the hotel is. The room was big. It had a walk in wardrobe, large bathroom and a very spacious bedroom with black out blinds.(switch beside the bed) Also the air con was a life saver in the heat wave. We looked forward coming back every day to our room full of cool air. I absolutely fell in love with the herb gardens in the lobby. Such a wonderful idea. The spa and pool facilities were very good. The spa looks to have recently been done up. There were towels, steam room, sauna, showers, hair dryers and coded lockers available in the changing rooms. The pool is slightly old schcool but the view and sunbathing deck are beautiful. I cannot praise the cleaners enough. Room cleaning was fantastic. We slept in most days and were fortunate enough we could arrange for cleaners to come back slightly later (12pm) to change out towels etc. This really made a huge difference.

Negative: Honestly I find it hard to fault the hotel the only downside to it being a slightly older building is that noise can travel. We had an adjoining room and we noticed that if we left the bathroom door open we could hear the people next door. It wouldn't put me off booking again.

Summary: 5 star service for an excellent price & central location.
