Imagine waking up to the cool breeze off the ocean and to hear the water breaking on the beach. Its magical to sit out on the front deck and gaze down the street to the sea. With only a short walk away from one of the best beaches in South Australia, safe and with glistening white sands. Port Hughes is one of SA best beaches and fishing location!
Our beautiful holiday home was built in 2002 and has an abundance of space and privacy for all the family to enjoy. Tiled throughout, large and spacious.
Upstairs there is a very large open plan room containing kitchen, meals area with a huge 14 seater dinning table. More family space is offered outside on the balcony with another huge extendable 12 seater table to enjoy a wine overlooking the ocean. The lounge area has a leather lounge that consists on four recliner seats to lay back and take in your favourite TV program.
The kitchen is a delight with a generous amount of bench space, sink adjacent to the window overlooking the bbq area, gas cooktop, electric oven and the imported modern wood oven which adds a great deal of practicality and charm to the kitchen, not to mention warmth in winter to the home. Microwave and coffee machine are there for your convenience.
The pantry is huge with the fridge and freezer located there, all spices and condiments are there, together with every kitchen utensil, plates, cups, pans etc to whip up your favourite meal and enjoy!
The master bedroom is located upstairs which is spacious with an ensuite that has many cupboards as well as a walk-in robe. There is a queen size bed and rollaway single bed for any extra guests. Remembering that this is upstairs and so there are views to the gulf waters from many locations, the front deck is a magnet for relaxing and has exquisite views.
There is a bbq area upstairs adjacent the kitchen that has a Webberque and outdoor sofa.
Downstairs has the remaining 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bunk that is a double bed and single on top, with another single bed and rollaway bed.
Second bedroom has a queens size bed, double bunk that consists of double bed on bottom and single on top and another roll away bed.
Both bedrooms are large, as well as the main bathroom and a seperate toilet.
The laundry has a washing machine and also a gas cooktop for anyone wanting to cook seperate to the main kitchen. Washing powder is available for your convenience.
The double garage hosts a ping pong table for family tournaments!
The block is fully fenced with established backyard with fruit trees and large grassed area for a game of family cricket. There is also a cozy fire pit area, and fish cleaning section too!
This home is warm and welcoming, located only a short stroll from the beach, the jetty to go fishing, boat ramp, the general store for fish and chips and also the Tavern for a relaxing drink and a meal.
