We are spoiled for choice with so much to do on the Peninsula.
Water activities: We are surrounded by both back and front beaches, so there are endless opportunities. Bayplay Adventure Tours are your one Stop Adventure Shop and can book any of the following tours: Snorkel or Dive with Dragons, Sea kayaking along the Dolphin Sanctuary coastline, Learn to Scuba Dive in a day, Sailing Charters and Catamaran Cruises to the Seals or Hire a bike, kayak or Stand up paddle board. We can provide and book any of the day tours for you with Bayplay Adventure Tours located in Portsea.
Upcoming events:
- Speigelzelt - opens again on December 8th - This summer it is the world-wide hit show, LIMBO UP CLOSE! It is hosted at Three Palms in Sorrento and is one of the best night you will have!
- The Briars market - every Tuesday afternoon from 3-6.
- Red Hill market - First Saturday of every month from September - May
- Boneo Community Market - every third Saturday - 8-12
- Emu Plains Market - 9-12pm - every third Saturday - Oct-April

Food & wine: We are surrounded by many cellar doors, vineyards and incredible restaurants just a short drive along the peninsula's coastal roads. There is beautiful Red Hill and main ridge dairy just a short drive away which offers wine, fresh produce, seafood and bountiful food. There is also many markets in summertime to delight your senses.
Golf: There's a huge choice of play from social golf to the very demanding Open course at Moonah Links. There is Sorrento and Portsea gold club just a stone’s throw away.
Peninsula Hot Springs:
This coastal oasis provides the idyllic setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. Two bathing facilities including a bath house, cave pool, Turkish steam baths, saunas and family bathing areas, massaging thermal mineral showers and hilltop pool all offering stunning 360 degree views of the region.
Shopping: There are dozens of charming villages along our coastlines and scattered throughout our peaceful hinterland but we are lucky enough to have the Sorrento and Blairgowrie village at our fingertips. So whether you want the quiet of the countryside, or the colour of the coastal high streets, you'll find it here.
For the Kids:
- Beautiful lavender farm is a short drive away with meandering hedge mazes, rides, slide, zip or wander through adventure gardens, beautiful landscapes, or stroll along boardwalks through wetlands.
- Rye carnival is a 5 minute drive
- Sand sculpting - You will be amazed by the life size sand sculptures on display created by 20 of the world's finest sculptors
Other Things to Note:
Guests must bring their own linen, top sheet, bottom sheet and pillow case and towel. Packages are available for hire at $20per person and must be requested in advance if your arrival if possible. We require our guests to have a fabulous holiday in this amazing part of the world and to respect the local neighborhood. Local noise restrictions apply and must be followed. No parties or excessive language, yelling or shrieking. No Smoking and Pets by negotiation. As we allow all types of groups, we have a security deposit/bond form which needs to be filled out and returned to us prior to check in - this form states areas which guest need to comply with - this covers things like noise complaints, excess rubbish, broken windows etc. We understand that accidents happen or incidents occur which may have been unavoidable, however the group organizer is responsible for the group and their actions at all times. The deposit amount for family/community groups is $1000 and all other groups is $2000.
