Small but quaint. Platypus Den is a tidy, peaceful studio unit attached directly to "Harcourt" a heritage listed home and coach house, circa 1900. Wonderful old garden setting with many significant trees. Guests can enjoy a hobby farm environment with direct private access to over 300m Yarra river frontage.
The Yarra River frontage includes the famous river bend where the river deepens and widens. The resident platypus can often be seen early morning and at dusk. Guests can fish, canoe, picnic or swim at the river bend.

Summary: A lovely self contained annex with access to rear garden and river Yarra and close to Warburton. Enjoyed the short walk to the river and fishing in a nice secluded area. Has all the facilities you need. This was our second stay and we will return again.
