Musk House is a contemporary styled property that is well appointed and very comfortable. Tastefully decorated, the house is set in established gardens which leads down to a small creek. The open planned living space is warmed by a Coonara style wood fire while the warmer months are no problem with a reverse cycle air conditioner. The kitchen has everything you might need to self cater including all pots, pans, crockery and cooking utensils and a dishwasher. There is olive oil, salt, pepper & sugar provided. There is also plunger coffee & coffee pods for the Nespresso coffee machine. There is a smart TV in the lounge room where you can watch free to air channels or access all the various platforms using your own log in details. (WiFi ID & password available at property) There is a Queen size bed with an en-suite bathroom. A small balcony off the bedroom is a lovely spot for your morning coffee while watching the bird life frolic in the garden. There is a sun room at the front of the house with a lovely day bed just perfect for an afternoon nap or perhaps just to read a book or magazine.
Musk House is located in the small hamlet of Musk, which is just a short distance out of town. Some of the regions major attractions are located in Musk. Passing Clouds winery is just around the corner, as is the incredible small goods farm called 'Istra' where you can purchase all your bacon, sausages, salami and other products directly from the owners at reduced prices. You will find a compendium with all of this information on the desk. A great selection of eateries, such as The Farmers Arms,Bistro Terroir, Bar Merenda are just a short drive away. The Daylesford Hotel has the best balcony overlooking town & also a large beer garden for alfresco dining. Various bars and specialist shops and galleries line the Main Street so enjoy a browse at your own leisure.
Take the mineral waters too at the famous and historic Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa or try various treatments at one of a selection of day spas all located around the township.
Musk House is also pet friendly so feel free to bring that other member of the family with you. Please be mindful of other guests and ensure that you clean up after your dog in the garden ( doggy bags are supplied) The small garden area, accessed via the back door or through the French doors from the sun room is fully fenced and secure for your dog. The gate across the driveway adds extra security & there is some secure fencing in this garden area which should prevent your dog access to the very rear of the property which is NOT fenced. Please be sure to check this fencing to be confident it will contain your pet before letting him/her free to explore. I ask that you clean up after your dog in the garden areas. Please do not leave your dog in the house unsupervised.
