If attending a wedding (Mitchelton winery is a 13 min drive), exploring the wineries, having a family holiday or planning a girl’s weekend our place is the ideal choice. Park the car & embrace the serenity of this stunning location. Our home is in close proximity to the lake, a 5 min walk to the start of the parkrun, beach and foreshore walking track.
A 10-minute leisurely stroll along the Lakeside track will find you at the centre of town where you will be spoilt for choices for food and drink. Try the brewery, Eighteen sixty, one of the local pubs, or enjoy fish n chips overlooking the lake.
The wacky inflatable water park and splash park is a 5 min walk from the house along the lakeside track💦.

Summary: We loved our stay at Lakeside Retreat - perfect location, clean, very comfortable and spacious, very well equipped kitchen and we felt quite "at home" in the house. Fiona and Richard are great hosts and easy to communicate with, check-in/out is very easy & there is no need to fuss with keys etc! Would love to return, Nagambie is a wonderful area and we enjoyed a beautiful lunch in the restaurant at Tahbilk Winery. 5 Stars to Lakeside Retreat from us (4 Adults - 2 sisters and our husbands who don't see each other often as live in NSW & WA!)
