An ENTIRE two bedroom cottage ALL TO YOURSELF in the quiet of the beautiful Adelaide Hills. This original but renovated 1850’s cottage brings together the best of both old world charm with its original stone wall features and all of today’s modern day comforts. Fully furnished and surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful gardens, nothing says ‘escape from the hustle’ like this cottage tucked away amongst the trees.

Welcome to Holly Cottage. This stunning cottage is tucked away as the perfect couples retreat but also can accommodate small groups for a unique stay that truly allows you to “switch off”. Located on Radbone Road in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, it conveniently creates a country-feel stay a mere five minute drive from the delight of all the region has to offer.
Some of the amazing locations nearby include historic Hahndorf for the ultimate fare at a traditional German pub, all the small shops to explore and the many beautiful pubs with open fires or wineries and distilleries alike at your fingertips. Don’t forget to take note of the season’s opportunities to pick- whether it be strawberries, cherries or apples- all a small drive away for a true country experience!
Steeped in history, Holly Cottage still has some of its original structure from the 1800’s and has recently been renovated to withstand the next test of time. Featuring a large combustion heater that warms the cottage during the winter months and plenty of firewood, gardens to wander about in, or a creek to sit by as you take some time out of the grind - it exudes a peaceful atmosphere with many sitting spaces to relax and waste the day away.
Upon arrival at Holly Cottage you’ll immediately feel as though you`re at home and ready to put your feet up. Drive down the gravel driveway to your own parking spot next to the quaintly named ‘Tilt` shed with its original timbers from the old railroads but beautifully renovated barn-like doors. Take in the gorgeous oak trees and the green of the gardens as you make your way to the doors. Entry into our home is via lock box for ease of access 24/7.
The living room is perfect for wasting the day away with a delicious Nespresso coffee in hand and a ‘can’t put it down’ book by the window. You could choose to pass the day idly by just sipping a wine from a local winery by the creek or fireplace, or pop on a movie in front of the television - that is of course - if you choose to stay home to enjoy it with all the location has to offer!
The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay including an oven, induction cooktop, fridge and plenty of wine glasses! Take a seat at our 4 seater dining table and chat away with whomever is cooking up dinner that night, or make the most of the outdoor table and chairs that sit by the bbq available for use on your stay,
Our king master bedroom boasts sophisticated decor, side tables, luxury high loft quilts and pillows, and super soft vintage wash linen. There is hanging and shelf space for your convenience. Drift away in utter indulgence amongst super soft pillows and cushions.
The accompanying bathroom has a shower, toilet, and our absolute favourite- heated towel rails for the ultimate in luxe for colder months . Enjoy the provisions of hair and body care amenities on us.
A second bathroom is also available on the lower floor so nobody has to fight about who gets to shower first!
There is a washing machine and car parking available at the property for your convenience.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Please note this property has stairs to a second story. This property is not equipped with wifi and service for some phone providers can be intermittent (though reception is available outside the cottage). It is important to note that this property is in a bushfire area and guests should ensure they take note of any area bushfire warnings particularly over the summer months. The property has a small creek that runs through so please be mindful of small children in the outdoor space.

Please treat the our home as if it were your own. Kindly leave the property in a tidy condition upon departure. Unexpected additional cleaning cost will be forwarded to you.

CHECK OUT: Check out strictly at 10AM. Additional charges will be incurred for our cleaners time if not vacant upon their arrival. We charge $30AUD for the first 30 minutes, and $60AUD for every 30-minutes after this.
LOST KEYS/LOCKOUTS: Please keep the property key with you all the time during your stay. Lost key/emergency key delivery charges will be $180AUD plus key replacement fee or cost of a locksmith.
LOST PROPERTY: For any items left behind - the host will hold the item for a maximum of 30 days from check-out date after which time they will be considered abandoned and disposed of or donated. During the 30 day collection period, collection can be arranged by way of the guest providing a prepaid postage bag to a supplied address or the item can be collected in person at an agreed time and location.
