Summary:
Your host is Ruth who is super friendly and loves hosting guests.

The accommodation is under the same roof of your hosts however the guest section is blocked off from the main house and guests have a private entry located on the verandah. All bedrooms, bathroom and living area is just for the guests only and private. The bathroom is an ensuite in one of the bedrooms.

Your stay includes continental breakfast.

The Space:
Two bedrooms are available for guest use - one well appointed queen sized bedroom with an ensuite and one bedroom containing 1 double bed. It's ideal for a total of 3 guests. It has a split system air con/heater.

A comfy sitting room adjoins the bedrooms and it has a TV and DVD player. There is a kettle, microwave, some dishes/silverware, tea and coffee for you to use. **Please note there is no kitchen or cooking facilities in this accommodation - just a microwave and kettle**.

Gardens surround the house, these consist of mature trees, shrubs and perennial planting. Many native birds call the property home. Hanging Rock and Mt Macedon are in easy reach.

Summary: I had a pleasant stay with my little house-trained dog in a very clean, very private and adequately appointed 2 bedroom flat attached to the end of a large house. The highlight was the larger of the 2 bedrooms with windows looking out to a lawn & garden that had an ensuite bathroom next to it and a really comfortable large bed. The small living /dining area was a little disappointing with a very low 2 seater couch that I found hard to get up from and there was also a glaring overhead light that could probably be addressed with a small modifications such as a standard lamp being provided. This area would work better in warm weather as the porch area outside had several large outdoor tables and chairs for dining and was enclosed by garden. The freeway noise was a down side but abated later at night and was not audile from the big back bedroom.
