However the main street of Smythesdale itself (4kms away) has all the essentials that you need such as IGA, petrol station, cafes, pubs, post office, vet, doctors & pharmacy, emergency services and more. Lake Burrumbeet is also just a 13km drive if you love fishing or have a boat. There is also plenty of dirt bike tracks around our place to ride your dirt bike if you have one or if you have a push bike the Skipton Rail Trail is also near by which incudes beautiful scenery.
