A genuine 160 year old American Barn imported from Indianna, USA in 2018 and lovingly restored and rebuilt in the shadow of Mt Buller overlooking the pristine Delatite Valley.

Coombs Hill Barn is a truly unique luxury private home set on 100 acres of farming land in Victoria's High Country. Perfect for couples, groups and families alike, Coombs Hill is ideal for a family birthday, anniversary celebration, group getaway, small event or elopement.

The space
Able to accommodate 11 guests, the accommodation comprises of 5 large bedrooms with a total of 4 bathrooms/ ensuites with additional seperate Powder rooms for maximum privacy. The open plan Great Room offers an inviting place to rest and marvel at the 12m high handcrafted stone fireplace whilst spending time with friends and family. A separate seating area with Mt Buller and Valley views is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and a good book. The custom built barnwood dining table can seat 12+ people and is the perfect spot to host a special dinner party. In addition, there is also a games area with a table tennis table, a great place for kids to entertain themselves. The Dining area opens onto a large deck with unobstructed views with seperate outdoor seating and BBQ. The Kitchen is very well equipped with a commercial cooker/ oven, large island bench, coffee machine, 2 sinks, dishwasher and full-size fridge and and has direct access to the seperate laundry with washer and dryer.
On the ground floor is one main king bedroom with adjacent bathroom, one bunk room (sleeping 3 guests), and an additional seperate powder room.
On the middle floor you will find two bedrooms, each with King beds and a seperate ensuite, with one of these rooms also having its own bath.

Merrijig the perfect location to enjoy all that Victorias High Country has to offer. With its close proximity to Mt Buller and Mt Stirling, the region is an ideal place to stay to enjoy all your winter sports within minutes drive. The entry gate to Mt Buller/Mt Stirling is an easy 15 minute drive from Coombs Hill Barn. During the warmer months the region is known for its hiking trails, bike trails, fishing and swimming in the Delatite River, boating on Lake Eildon, horse riding, 4 wheel driving. The region is also known for its wine and gourmet produce, with an array of vineyards, cafes and restaurants in the local area and in Mansfield town.

** Please note that the property is set on a working farm. This means there are animals, open water sources (dams) and wire fencing around the property. We welcome families however children are to be supervised at all times whilst at the property.
** The property is accessed by a dirt road
** Due to its remote location, mobile phone signal can be limited. Usually the Telstra network is the most reliable.
