Clayton Shore is a spacious, light filled home with uninterrupted views over the wide expense of fresh water to Hindmarsh Island and the big Southern Sky.

Simple, elegant and very functional, in its secluded waterfront location this family friendly home epitomises all that a getaway to a lifestyle property can provide.

Set on 10 acres of absolute water frontage, as well as it’s own private jetty, this amazing property has so much to offer with open plan living, wall to wall glass sliding doors with uninterrupted water views from all bedrooms and living areas, raked ceilings and louvre windows provide full cross ventilation that takes advantage of those cooling lake breezes. With its elevated footings and expansive decks, this home appears to float between earth and sky!

Relax on a warm mellow evening on the front deck with a wine, watching pelicans soar past and listening to the distant muted roar of the Southern ocean.

Perhaps retreat to the sheltered rear deck for those days that the Southerlies blow.

There are three very spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms.
There is Daikin split air conditioning for the very occasion hot nights when the usual cooling breezes from the lake are delayed. There is also a slow combustion wood heater for those cosy winter nights in. The laundry is adjacent to the main bathroom with washer and dryer for guest use.

All bed linen and towels are included in the accommodation rate. Strictly no parties and no smoking.and no pets.

There is a brand new private jetty for your use to moor a boat or launch the kayaks from. There is a boat ramp just a couple mins drive away.

We are not far away if needed but the whole property is yours to enjoy.

* Please be mindful of the neighbours and their private land. You are welcome to explore the water front, but you may not trespass across to neighbouring properties.

* Access to the water from the property is only via stairs to the jetty. Neighbouring properties are not be used to access the water by foot or to launch water craft.

* Boats can access the bay via Clayton Bay boat ramp.

* We will not be offering partial refunds if the wifi or Netflix is not working while you are at the house. Occasionally it can drop out due to stormy weather conditions.

* Parental Guidance: This property is not recommended for small children with no supervision as the water front area is not fenced and we don’t want to be responsible for any accidental drownings.

Summary: The property has got the best sunset view. It was so relaxing for our group to just sit and watch the sunsetting by the river. Would come again next time.
