Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The host was great and easy to communicate with via Booking messages and SMS. They gave us clear instructions for check in and how to operate various appliances in the accomodation. This property is comparatively cheaper than others while also offering 2 x bedrooms, living room, dining room, WIFI, washing machine, oven, fridge, TV, parking garage, AC etc. WIFI connection was responsive and fast, both 2.4GHz and 5GHz available. TV is smart and had Netflix and Amazon pre-loaded, although there were no cable channels. There is a monitor available for WFH, although keep in mind it's an old model and can only do VGA (no HDMI/DP). AC unit was old fashioned but did the job and kept us cool during the day. Washing machine works well with washing power and drying rack provided. There was also plenty of space in the driveway for 2 cars, with garage at the back although we could not access the back due to some construction. The location was also nice, with easy access to main road and 5-15mins drive to major shops.

Negative: Presentation could have been better - the front lawn grass was overgrown, house had a musty smell when we initially walked in (had to leave windows open to get rid of it), there was no dishwasher rack, minimal body wash provided, half opened milk carton in fridge etc. The host also messaged a day prior to let us know we could not use the backyard as it was undergoing an upgrade. While this wasn't a huge issue for us, we would've preferred to be aware of this earlier as we wanted to park our car in the garage overnight.
