The entire apartment is yours to enjoy. The garden and laundry (washing machine and dryer) are common areas. However it's only a block of 4 units so still very private.
Before booking please be aware:
- There is no air-conditioning in the apartment but there are fans (including Vornados) and the unit has double brick walls which means it doesn't get too hot. We enjoyed the apartment for over a decade and had no issues - but if you require conditioning this may not be the place for you.
- Typical of many parts of Sydney in Summer time, there could be mosquitos about - especially if you use the garden and back laneway.
- This is an Art Deco building and there is no lift. The entry from the main street has a flight of stairs (only 21 steps). There is a back laneway with less stairs which can be used (7 steps). The apartment is on the building's ground floor.
- The external laundry room is shared. Typically only one other unit uses it (others have private laundries).
- I am required to check your ID on arrival to ensure it matches the name on the booking.
