ACACIA is a stunning 12 hectare property just over an hour from Adelaide and only twenty five minutes from the coastal towns of Victor Harbor and Port Elliott and the turn off to Waitpinga and beyond.
As you drive into the property take in the spectacular views of the Inman Valley to the right as it sweeps left down to Encounter Bay, the Bluff and Granite Island in the distance.
Becoming one with nature is the best way to describe this beautiful property and its spectacular surrounds.
The Space:
As you enter the house, take in the sweeping views through the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that surround the house. This luxurious relaxing getaway has all Miele appliances and Kartell and King Living furnishings throughout. As you step outside take a moment to feel a calmness as you imagine being at one with nature. The main living area is open plan kitchen, dining and lounge. All floors are polished concrete as is the large kitchen island bench. There is a cosy gas fireplace in the lounge area and ceiling fans in every room. The kitchen has a fridge, gas cooktop, electric oven, steam oven, dishwasher, DeLonghi coffee machine, crockery, and platters to enhance your dining experience. The main bedroom with ensuite is located at the eastern end of the house looking out to beautiful Yaccas and the birdlife they attract. This beautiful completely off-grid house, designed by renowned South Australian architect Max Pritchard, leaves a gentle footprint as it sits nestled hillside amongst some of the rare remnant native bush of the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula. The design and styling of the large ensuite will make you feel like you are showering with nature. Bedroom one has a king bed with a large swivel chair with footstool, automatic blinds and dimmable down lights for reading. Bedroom two is located at the western end of the house. This room has a king bed, large swivel chair with footstool to sit and enjoy the view or a good book. The outlook is very different to bedroom one, with views of the gully area, adjacent heritage listed bush and the undulating landscape of the Inman Valley in the distance. There is no outdoor furniture as you only need to slide back the glass doors and let the outside in.
Bookings: Please be aware that ACACIA is in a bushfire area. We strongly recommend guests not stay if the Victor Harbor temperature is forecast to be above 32 degrees Celsius during the dates booked. In this instance nights not used will be refunded’.

- If bringing a dog, you will need to have it under control as there are many resident kangaroos.
- There is an unfenced dam on the property – close parental supervision of children is essential.
- There are narrow, unsealed roads once you turn off Inman Valley Road or Springmount Road.
