Just a 2 minute walk to the beach, our unique, original fully renovated Cottage is set within Murramarang National Park, offering a tranquil coastal retreat. Perfect for families or up to 6 guests, it’s quiet, comfortable and well maintained. The Cottage features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher, airconditioning, and Wifi. The space is light and clean with timber floors throughout. All linen is provided but please bring beach towels. The Cottage includes:
- open-plan living, dining and fully equipped cook’s kitchen space with dishwasher
- 3 bedrooms:
- 2 x Queen bedrooms
- 1 bedroom with 2 single beds.
Note: two bedrooms have reverse cycle air conditioning.
- 2 bathrooms upstairs and a separate loo
- newly renovated bathroom downstairs (shower, loo) with fabulous laundry (washing machine & dryer)
- large outdoor deck with BBQ and outdoor dining
- cosy front deck with chairs and small table - to enjoy quiet sunshine
- single garage connected to the house
- fully enclosed yard - so children can play safely
- rear double garage & rear lane access
The modern ‘cooks’ kitchen is very well equipped with new dishwasher, Smeg oven, microwave, filtered water at tap, kitchen blender/whizzer, new stainless steel pots and pans, cast iron pot for slow cooking, baking materials including cake tins, measures, whisks etc.
Linen is supplied including sheets, towels, bathmats, washers. We also have spare pillows, doonas, blankets & pillows. Please bring beach gear.
South Durras is not connected to ‘town’ water and sewerage - so our water comes from rainwater tanks (please use the water carefully) and there is a septic system (hygenically removed). Please wash sand off feet after beach - to protect the timber floors, rugs and drains - please use tap/hose outside laundry.
Pricing is based on the entire Cottage (sleeps 6). We have a requirement of 2 night minimum booking except for the following:
- long weekends - 3 night minimum
- Christmas/January - 6 nights minimum stay
- Easter - 4 night minimum stay over Easter days or if booking starts or finishes on any of the 'Easter' days (ie 'Maundy' Thursday to Easter Monday inclusive).
House rules:
Please - no vaping or smoking
Check in after 2pm (earlier check in may be accommodated in quieter periods)
Check out after 10am late / later on request (usually in quieter periods)
Please – no loud parties or excessive noise – this is a quiet area
Not suitable for pets.
